Michele & Son Upholsterers was established in 1976 by Michele, who brought his love for curtain making, furniture, and upholstery from Italy to our humble Stanmore workshop, where we’ve been ever since. In 2000, his son Vince took the reins, carrying forward his father’s creativity, knowledge, and passion, and shaping the business into what it is today.
For us, upholstery is more than a craft, it’s a tradition built on care, precision, and attention to every last detail. Each piece that enters our workshop is treated with respect and dedication.
But what truly sets us apart is the way we work with people. We believe in collaboration and in guiding our clients to make the best decisions for their furniture and their home. Every project is a partnership, built on trust, family values, and a shared love for craftsmanship and community.
